Counselling
Psychological Counselling is indicated if you have difficulties in coping with some challenges, especially in the social realm, but the problems are not as severe as to negatively impact your health (in this case psychotherapy would be indicated).
Couples Counselling involves dealing with couple conflicts, learning better communication strategies and improving the quality of the couple's relationship (including sexuality). Family Counselling can help to resolve family problems and to dissolve entranched constellations and behaviour patterns. (...more)
Coaching
The distinction between Coaching and Psychological Counselling is not clearly defined. Both processes are aimed at healthy people and their general objective is to solve problems or overcome challenges, helping the client to develop his/her own strengths and learn new skills. When applied in the context of careers, the term coaching is used more frequently and in my understanding coaching is even more solution focused and goal oriented than counselling. (...more)
Psychotherapy
Every person can enter into such a strong state of crises in their life that despite all their abilities they are no longer able to cope with the situation on their own. If our established problem management strategies fail, psychological symptoms can develop, such as sleep disorders, nightmares, brooding, concentration problems, persistent tension, irrational fears, avoidance behaviour, depressive mood, listlessness, loss of interest, lack of energy or substance abuse (e.g. too much alcohol). Relaxation Techniques
Learning and regularly practicing a Relaxation Technique can help to reduce tension, reduce long term stress levels, reduce the consequences of prolonged periods of stress and deal with difficult situations in a calmer and more constructive way. I can offer Relaxation Techniques in an individual as well as in a group setting. These are the Relaxation Techniques I most often work with:
